Global Compact is initiative  – a call of United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan for entrepreneurs all around the world to take part into movement and opinion exchange in order to popularize good praxis concerning human rights, labour rights, environment protection, and anti-corruption issues.

In 2005 LDDK due to the termination of UN mission in Latvia undertook the functions of collaboration partner of UN Global Compact, as well as actualize and integrates issues about corporative social responsibility and socially responsible entrepreneurship.
